虽然想要挽回，但男子十分坚决，坚持不肯复合，甚至避不见面。
男子的绝情，让女方的姐妹淘非常生气，于是决定恶整这个男子，给他一个教训：他们再半夜拨打无声的电话骚扰他(childish)，甚至四处寄送描速男子“无情，残忍”的黑函。
最后，男子辗转得知是这几个女生做的好事，便约她们出来，再咖啡厅面谈。
几个女孩趾高昂地出现了，很得意自己的恶作剧秦效，终于把男生“逼”出来。
其中一个女孩决定给他一个下马威，一见他就高声地说：“你为什么要这样对我们的好朋友？ 你真是个残忍的家伙！”
男子叹口气，问道：“我发现彼此个性不合，所以提出分手，我究竟哪里残忍？”
“当然残忍！”女孩继续咄咄逼人地说：“对方那么爱你，你怎么可以弃他于不顾？”
“好吧，那我愿意继续跟她交往....."男子说。
一群女生听了都高兴得不得了。
“但是你们得先听我说完，”男子说：如果我们明明不适和我却因为怕她难过，继续跟她在一起，甚至拖了三年，五年，难道这样不残忍吗？”
女孩们都愣住了。
“如果我们不适合，我却还是娶了她，甚至跟她生儿育女，但我仍无法勉强自己爱她，难道这样不残忍吗？”
所有的女孩都说不出话了。 过了许久，男子叹了口气，说：“跟她分手不是因为我残忍，而是给她机会，找到更适合的人。” (amazing)
this short piece of story was exactly what happened to me!(did he just read from this novel?? haha) it's all the exact same situation other than the confrontation part by the girlfriends(peace please lols). what the guy said in this story matches totally to what he said too, I'm amazed! thinking back, it helps. not exactly feel it's right to thank him but I'm grateful it ended earlier before it drags, and then get out of hand. thought that back then he was the immature one but alas! it was me instead! it's not a matter whether there was still love for him or not, it whether we were really happy/blissful when we were tgt. to consider the larger picture, it was bliss, rather than love. we weren't happy till the end, @least I know I wasn't then. I just chose not to face it, the truth. letting go was another way to search for who there are out there suitable for us all. it may be cruel, but not letting go might be worse. considering the larger picture again, it's bliss, not love. anymore(:
I don't need anyone to disrupt my lovely life now.
still, riding solo. &somehow I enjoy that.
